Who can use this feature?
This feature is available for all users
Automation creates workflows to provide instant support based on specific customer scenarios and needs in livechat.
It allows you to set up automatic responses and actions that trigger when certain conditions are met. It helps you provide fast and reliable support automatically.

Chatty provide different automations based on your needs:
Generate leads: Welcome visitors, Subscribe newsletter
Solve problems: AI assistant, Suggested FAQs
This flow helps greet users with personalized messages, making their visit feel extra special. Users are intrigued to click more on the chatbox.
Welcome messages will be shown to visitors of your website.
If you're using live chat, when users click welcome message, chatbox will be opened and store will send them welcome message as first message.
If you're not using live chat, when users click welcome message, chatbox will be opened.
You can check performance of this automation in details:
Impression: Total times your welcome message was shown or displayed to visitors on your store in a certain time duration (for example: over the last 7 days)
Click: Total times visitors clicked on welcome message in a certain time duration (for example: over the last 7 days)
How to set up Welcome visitors:
This welcome message will be shown as a teaser (above the chatbox) 5 seconds after page view. (you can change this behaviour later in Advanced settings)
Display settings of teaser:
Audience: Whom to show teaser Visitors are who just visited your website Customers are those logged in your website
Devices: Which devices to show teaser
Display time
In Advanced settings, you have more settings for when and how long to show teaser message
Set when to show message:
After a delay time: For example, 5 seconds
After scrolling: For example, 50% of the page depth
Set how long to show message:
Always show (this is recommended)
Custom duration
This flow helps capture your customer’s emails & increase conversion rate by hot deals, exclusive updates and rewards.
Go to "Assistant" tab
Click Manage in "Subscribe newsletter
Click to turn on.
In general, select who will see this flow.
You can select discount for subscribers. Click Select a discount. Discounts of your store will be shown in the list. Click to select and Save.
You can add image for your discount. In "Discount image", select Custom -> Click upload image
Invitation message: This will be shown as first message when user click "Chat now"
Also shown as teaser: Invitation message will be shown as teaser (above chatbox)
Chat flow is content in the conversation with your customer.
Form field: Required information you get from customer before they claim discount. Email field is required, you can add name and phone number.
Disclaim consent is shown in the subscribe form. You can change content and the link of your privacy policy. In app, go to Settings -> Edit your disclaimer consent.
Edit success message. Customers will receive success message after they subscribed with their email.
Marketing double opt-in: By turning on this, customer will get a confirmation email to confirm their subscription before we get discount.
Click Save to save all your settings.
If you turn on both Welcome visitors and Subscribe newsletter assistants, messages will be shown like below images.
This helps show common questions in chatzone and provide instant answer to customers.
Go to "Assistant" tab
Click Manage in "Suggested FAQs"
Click to Turn on assistant
Your featured questions will be shown in chatzone. When user click questions, answers will be provided. Set up your featured questions.
